Dr. Bijay Kumar Sahu is a technocrat and innovation leader with over 22 years of experience in intellectual property (IP), technology transfer, innovation management, and commercialization. Holding an M.Phil. and Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), along with an Advanced Diploma in Innovation Management and IP Commercialization from Copenhagen Business School, he has played a pivotal role in strengthening India's innovation ecosystem. He currently heads the Outreach Offices of the National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) across multiple regions and has led numerous national and international collaborations with organizations including WIPO, USPTO, UKIPO, and DST. Recognized for his contributions to innovation and technology commercialization, he has mentored startups, technology business incubators, and innovation centres while supporting IP strategy, technology transfer, and research commercialization across academia, industry, and government.
