Build, connect, test, and validate intelligent technologies for fisheries, aquaculture, and ocean applications.
The IoT & Technology Lab gives founders access to the tools and guidance required to develop connected products for challenging marine and aquaculture environments.
Teams can work with sensors, microcontrollers, communications modules, data acquisition systems, and electronics test equipment while receiving hands-on technical support.
The facility supports rapid proof-of-concept development, enclosure planning, field-readiness testing, and integration with software and cloud platforms.
Startups also benefit from collaboration with KUFOS researchers and access to relevant pilot environments.

No. Applying to AIC-KUFOS programs is completely free. Once selected, there may be nominal charges for specific services, but the core incubation program is subsidized by DST-NSTEDB.

Absolutely! We encourage student entrepreneurs to apply for our Pre-Incubation program. You do not need to have a registered company to apply — you just need a strong idea and committed team.
We primarily focus on fisheries, aquaculture, marine technology, ocean sciences, coastal sustainability, seafood supply chain, marine biotechnology, IoT for fisheries, and related blue economy sectors.
From application submission to final selection typically takes 4–6 weeks — including screening, pitch presentations, and due diligence. We aim to communicate results promptly at every stage.
Cohort 5 applications are now open. Submit your application before August 10, 2026.
